Begin your night with a narrated drive of the city passing multiple dazzling points of interest lit up at night such as; the Saint John Port, Uptown, King Square, the historical Fort Howe, the thrilling Reversing Falls Rapids, and the iconic City Market. Then your guide will take you to the Reversing Falls Rapids a series of rapids on the Saint John River where the river runs through a narrow gorge before emptying into the Bay of Fundy - this is a sight to behold as the monstrously high tide reverses the flow of the mighty Saint John River known as ‘nature’s tug-of-war’. Then, take a step back in history at Fort La Tour, a National Historic Site of Canada - an archaeological site containing the remains of a 17th-century fortified fur trading post in Saint John, New Brunswick. Continue to learn about the city’s history at the Carleton Martello Tower - one of the nine surviving Martello Towers in Canada dating back to 1812 playing a significant role in conflicts up until the Second World War. Here you can look out over the city of Saint John, its harbor, and the skyline from the viewpoint. At the end of your tour, your guide will take you back to your Downtown Saint John hotel.
