Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

We start the tour in a third wave Turkish coffee house where we eat a semite and have a Turkish Coffee and talk about the history of coffee. Next, we move to a hip and innovative third wave establishment for cold coffee in three forms- you will choose one. We will talk about the "waves of coffee" and coffee in Quebec while you drink it in an iconic park. Next we move to a place known for their connections to arts, culture and design for some food and an espresso martini. After that, we will visit a café that also has a pottery studio for a barista 101 course about extraction. We finish the tour at a roaster for a small course on roasting as well as a cupping. If you love coffee, you do not want to miss this. It will inspire you and help you learn and propel you into the 4th wave! :)

Before You Go

What to know before booking

What to Bring

You should bring with you a camera and a small bottle of water When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses During the cooler seasons, it’s important to wear an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves If it looks like rain we can provide you with a plastic rain poncho Since every tour involves moving to several locations wearing comfortable footwear is highly recommended

Restrictions

Be prepared to be active on this tour as we will be walking 4 km. (2.5 miles) For private groups, we can arrange transportation. As coffee is an appetite stimulant it is recommended you don't start on an empty stomach! This tour is not recommended for children under 18 yrs or pregnant women as it contains a high amount of caffeine. Yes, tours appropriate for children will have a child ticket option. If you need to have any special accommodation made for them, we can arrange a private tour to work around your family’s needs. If there are no children ticket options it is because some of our tours visit locations that will only allow those 18 yrs and above because of the law or offer food/beverages that are not suitable to children.
