Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Lake Louise – Banff National Park Begin the tour at Lake Louise, a destination offering outdoor adventure, tranquility, and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy opportunities for hiking, canoeing, or relaxing at a teahouse while taking in the beauty of this iconic alpine lake in Banff National Park. Moraine Lake – Banff National Park Continue to Moraine Lake, accessible only between June 1 and October 14 each year. Located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, this glacially fed lake is famous for its striking turquoise waters, vibrant during the summer months. Towering jagged mountains and evergreen forests surround the lake, creating a dramatic and picturesque setting. Lower Spiral Tunnels Viewpoint – Yoho National Park Travel to the Lower Spiral Tunnels Viewpoint to observe one of the Canadian Rockies’ most impressive engineering achievements. Built in the early 20th century for the Canadian Pacific Railway through Kicking Horse Pass, the spiral tunnel design allows trains to gradually ascend steep terrain by looping through the mountain. Takakkaw Falls – Yoho National Park Visit Takakkaw Falls, one of Canada’s highest waterfalls, with a dramatic drop of 254 meters (833 feet). Located in Yoho National Park, this powerful waterfall is named from the Cree word meaning “it is magnificent,” perfectly describing the sight. Emerald Lake – Yoho National Park Explore Emerald Lake, a glacial lake stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers in length. Its vivid turquoise color comes from glacial silt suspended in the water, set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop within Yoho National Park. Natural Bridge Lower Falls – Yoho National Park Stop at Natural Bridge Lower Falls, a striking geological formation created by the Kicking Horse River. The natural rock arch spans the river, offering a clear view of the powerful forces that shaped this unique feature. Banff Avenue – Banff, Alberta Conclude the tour on Banff Avenue, the vibrant heart of Banff. Stroll along this bustling street lined with boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries, where alpine culture meets shopping and dining in the iconic mountain town of Banff.
