The most important element of any food tour is clearly the taste of the food. From the first bite of the meats on the charcuterie board to the last bite of the lobster roll - this food tour packed in the flavor. We are from Arizona and love Mexican food - and I have to say the Birria tacos at Almentaria Mexicana were some of the best I've ever had. The second most important part - and it is a close second - is the guide. Landon was outstanding. His inviting and friendly demeanor kicked off the tour beautifully. Throughout the experience he shared keen insights about the food, the city of Vancouver, and the history of Granville Island and the Public Market. He interacted with me and my wife as well as our 20 and 17 year old sons in a warm and engaging way. We highly recommend this tour - as we our self-identified connoisseurs of food tours around the world having partook in ones Iceland, Ireland, and Greece.
