The Experience

What your day looks like

Start your day with ease and convenience, with pickups beginning from Canmore or Banff. From the moment you step into our comfortable, spacious vehicle, your small-group adventure begins. No need to worry about the details—your personalized tour has been thoughtfully planned to offer you the best experience possible. Once everyone is picked up, we’ll travel along the Bow Valley Parkway, a scenic stretch of road that was once the original highway connecting Banff and Lake Louise. This beautiful route winds through forested landscapes and is a popular area for wildlife sightings (no guarantees), adding an extra layer of discovery to the journey. We’ll also make a short stop at Morant’s Curve, giving you time to stretch your legs, enjoy the iconic mountain views, and perhaps catch a glimpse of a passing train while enjoying a coffee or tea from the van. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the land’s wildlife, history, and ecology, offering a deeper connection to the breathtaking landscapes you’re about to explore. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy up to four hours of free time to experience Lake Louise at your own pace. Whether you’d like to stroll along the lakeshore trail, rent a canoe, or simply relax and take in the turquoise waters framed by towering peaks and glaciers, this extended visit allows you to immerse yourself fully in one of the most iconic destinations in the Canadian Rockies. For those seeking adventure beyond the lake, Lake Louise offers access to famous hikes with incredible views. Take the Lake Agnes Tea House Trail for a moderate hike ending at a charming tea house overlooking a pristine alpine lake. Or challenge yourself on the Little Beehive and Big Beehive trails, where panoramic viewpoints reward you with sweeping vistas of Lake Louise, surrounding peaks, and the valley below. Your guide will provide tips on the best routes, photo opportunities, and advice on how to make the most of your hike. Please note your driver guide will not be hiking with you. When it’s time to leave, settle back into the vehicle and enjoy a scenic drive as we return to your accommodations. Along the way, your guide will offer personalized recommendations for activities in Banff and the surrounding National Parks.
