What your day looks like
With the journey to Victoria equally as fascinating as the city itself, this tour offers scenic ocean travel, a captivating series of gardens, and an introduction to the enchanting waterfront city of Victoria. View the spectacular British Columbia coastline by land and ship, followed by a stop at Butchart Gardens en-route to the British inspired city of Victoria. Board a BC Ferries vessel at Tsawwassen terminal for a 90-minute sail through the serene beauty of the Gulf Islands. Marine wildlife sightings from the outdoor ship decks are common, especially eagles, sea lions and whales. Arrive at Swartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island and continue to the enchanting botanical paradise of Butchart Gardens. Wander through a series of themed gardens, highlighted by the massive Sunken Garden and dancing fountain. The gardens have been designated a National Historic Site of Canada. The City of Victoria boasts many impressive architectural wonders, including the iconic Parliament Buildings and the waterfront Fairmont Empress Hotel. For those who are staying in Victoria overnight, you will be dropped off at your evening hotel.

I am at a loss for words. I never imagined there could be a place like that. The different colors and layout were amazing. I thought I would be bored looking at flowers and plants. The two-and-a-half-hour tour was too short. A good 4 to 6 hours would give a better appreciation to see and enjoy it all. Simply amazing. It was the highlight of our trip.

This was the most lovely tour of Bouchard Gardens with a knowledgeable, friendly, funny tour guide. I would highly recommend it for anybody that wants to see the gardens while they’re visiting Victoria.
