Accompanied by a passionate local guide you explore areas shaped by industrial history major urban development and the central role of the Saint-Lawrence River in the city's evolution. In 3 hours over a smooth and accessible 16 km route you ride through iconic locations such as Old Montreal, the Lachine Canal, Griffintown and Jean Drapeau Park including the Biosphere and Habitat 67. This tour highlights the contrasts between historic heritage modern architecture and waterfront landscapes. An accessible cultural experience ideal for discovering Montreal differently by bike away from traditional tourist routes. Sites and locations included: Old Montreal, Silo No. 5, Lachine Canal, Griffintown, Habitat 67, the Biosphere, Formula 1 circuit, Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame islands, Jacques Cartier Bridge. IMPORTANT NOTICE - E-BIKES: E-bike legal requirement under Quebec law: "14 yr old minimum * 14 -17 yr old: moped or scooter permit required * 18 yr old and plus: no permit required". Riders aged 14-17 require a moped or scooter permit. Riders 18+ do not require a permit. This is the E-bike legal requirement under Quebec law. Note: This tour crosses the St-Lawrence River by way of the Jacques Cartier bridge. Because of the height of the bridge we do not suggest this tour to people who suffer from anxiety due to fear of heights.
