What travelers are saying
I loved the idea of it. The backseat windows are very hard to see out of and since it was mainly a driving tour I felt like we missed a lot. I loved the gardens at the gift shop - but there was not any time to walk through them. Chocolate covered chips were delicious! Loved the Anne of Green Gables stop. And the lighthouse and sandy beach stop. She did a great job getting us back in time for lunch (helped us pick a nice place for happy hour oysters) and to be on time for the ship. I think cruise ship stops just don’t allow enough time for adequate appreciation and with limited ability to see from the back of a van I rate it 3 stars. Which means I’m glad we went. I’d probably recommend it. Just can’t gush over it.
Our guide was right on time, friendly, and very knowledgable about the area. We got a good look around a part of PEI. Had a few "shopper stops" that were not necessary, but overall it was a very good experience and I would book it for someone else who visited there.
