Your day, step by step

Welcome to Canada! Make your way to the Air North check in counter located at Vancouver International Airport – Domestic Terminal. A DCT team member dressed in green will be there to assist with the group’s check in. Flight departs for Whitehorse with complimentary snacks served onboard.

City/Town Tour. City Tour Arrive in Whitehorse, where a representative of the Inn on the Lake will greet you. Enjoy a Whitehorse city tour with some time to explore the quaint northern city (this may be done on Day 4, depending on final flight schedule).

Eco Tour. Yukon Wildlife Travel to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and enjoy a guided tour. The Preserve offers great opportunities to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat; dall sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, deer, elk, woodland caribou, wood bison, and moose may be seen, usually up close! Check-in at your accommodation and receive your arctic winter clothes rental. Enjoy a gourmet group dinner this evening at the lodge.

Snow Mobiling at Marsh Lake. Yukon Adventure Savour a delicious a buffet breakfast included at the inn. Participate in an introduction to snowmobiling tour with a professional guide on Marsh Lake.

Fishing. Ice fishing demonstration Enjoy an ice fishing demonstration and a campfire lunch in a beautiful mountain setting. Travel back to the inn for a family-style gourmet dinner. Free time to enjoy the hotel’s facilities, including an outdoor hot tub. Evening at leisure with the option to watch the Northern Lights directly outside of your lodge.

Dog sledding: Not included in the package, and available for pre-booking only (additional cost) For those pre-booked in a traditional dog sledding tour this morning, you will depart from the lodge after breakfast and bring a packed lunch with you. Please let us know if you’d like to book a half-day dog sledding tour at the time of booking (additional cost), as there is very limited availability.

Leisure. For those staying at the inn, enjoy a free day to go snowshoeing, use the fat bikes provided by the lodge, or simply kick back and relax.
