Koh Rong Samloem: Day Trip from Phnom Penh with Snorkel & Kayaking

What your day looks like

At 5:30am your private driver will collect you from your accommodation for the 3 hour journey to Cambodia's south. In Sihanoukville, you will have the chance to stop for snacks before boarding your speed ferry to Koh Rong Samloem. In M'Pai Bay, your tour guide will be waiting for you on the pier when you arrive to begin your island experience. Your island day will begin with a tea or coffee right on the beach where you can take in the coastal views and breathe in the fresh ocean air for a few minutes. When you're ready, it is time to hop into your kayaks and paddle out from the beach to Koh Koun island. Your first stop will be a beautiful reef where you can enjoy some snorkeling or just take in the fish and coral below through the crystal-clear waters. From here, you will continue around the island to Fisherman's Beach where you will have a stop with time for a swim. Back in the village, it is time for lunch. Your guide will take you to a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy some of M'Pai Bay's delicious cuisine. After lunch, it's time to hit the beach! Your afternoon activity will see you down the long stretch of beach just adjacent to M'Pai Bay village where you will snorkel on the House Reef. Your guide will gladly point out a range of fish and coral species for you to see while you float above the magical underwater world that is a part of Koh Rong Marine Park. Returning to the main village, you will have a chance to rinse off and change before boarding your speed ferry back to the mainland at 3:45 pm. Arriving in Sihanoukville at 4:30 pm, you will be met again by your private driver to make the 3-hour journey back to Phnom Penh, returning to your hotel at approximately 7:30 pm.
