What your day looks like
Fish for piranha and watch out for lurking alligators while boating on the Solimoes River during this excursion from Manaus. With a local guide, travel to Iranduba via boat, watching the local fisherman go about their daily work during the peaceful journey. Bait a hook and drop it in the Solimoes; relax and wait for the piranha to do what they do the best bite. When dusk falls, look for alligators floating on the surface of the water as the boat navigates up the small channels around the river. Watch as your naturalist guide catches an alligator with his bare hands for closer examination and education.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
The tour starts at 5 PM. Hotel pick-up is around 4 PM. The boat departures from the port of Manaus to the area where the piranha fishing happens. Later the travelers will visit where the area where the alligators stay. The boat comes back to the port and the driver will take the travelers back to the hotel.
