The journey, in full
We’ll begin right at the famous Copacabana beach with a chilled coconut water, the perfect way to refresh yourself as you take in the golden sands and lively beachfront atmosphere. From there, we’ll admire the world-famous Copacabana Palace, a symbol of Rio’s golden age and a cultural landmark that has hosted royalty, celebrities, and musicians alike. Next, we’ll step into the very ground where Bossa Nova was born, exploring the neighborhood’s bohemian past and musical legacy. Next, we’ll stop for a tropical favorite — a pineapple sandwich, a surprising local delight that captures the fresh and playful side of Rio’s food culture. From there, you’ll taste one of Brazil’s most beloved seafood dishes, a recipe influenced by African and Indigenous traditions that showcases the city’s cultural blend. Our journey continues with galeto, Rio’s iconic charcoal-grilled chicken, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and a true staple of the carioca dining scene. Then it’s time for a savory pastel, a deep-fried pastry with a unique filling, perfectly paired with fresh-pressed caldo de cana (sugar cane juice), a classic street food combination. And, finally, as with all our tours, we’ll conclude with our delicious Secret Dish.
