Rainforest Trek to Secluded Sono Beach

Departure from Paraty to Laranjeiras Village in a 40-minute drive. Upon arrival, you will begin the hike to Sonos Beach lasting an hour and a half on average (2.5 miles). During the trek, you will pass through a preserved area of rainforest inside the AIPA of Cairuu (Ambient Protection Area of Cairuu). You can see many different kinds of vegetation, birds, animals, rivers (where you can refresh yourself) and at the end of the trail, Sono Beach with its powdery sand and crystal clear waters. There is a traditional fishing village, home to about 300 inhabitants, where support themselves with fishing and tourism. For those who want, there is optional lunch (not included), which always has fresh fish. You will have 3 hours approximately to swim, relax and enjoy this beach paradise before returning to Laranjeiras Village by the same trail. There is a return option by boat to the track start location, approximately U$ 8,00 per person. An extremely pleasant tour, mostly because of the high contact with nature.
