Presidente Figueiredo Waterfalls

The journey, in full

Our tour starts from the passengers` hotels to the city of Presidente Figueiredo, also known as the "Terra de Cachoeiras" (Land of Waterfalls), 107 km from Manaus. Upon arrival at the destination, we will walk among the dense plant life and the moss-covered stones to see the stunning waterfall that is part of the Urubui River. We will walk through the trails of the place, enjoying the jungle landscape and observing the native plants and animals while listening to the information of our guide. We will then return to our vehicle to return to the city and enjoy a traditional Brazilian lunch at a local restaurant. When lunch is over, we will travel a short distance to the Iracema waterfall, located in a local ecological reserve, where we will take a dip in the shallow pool at the foot of the waterfall and walk through the protected forest surrounding the falls. At the end of our full day of exploration at Terra de Cachoeiras, we will return to the passengers` hotels in Manaus.
