Different from the other colonial cities of Brazil, the architecture of Paraty has character, originality, and definition, forming a harmonious monument of the 18th century. Paraty is a Brazilian National Historic Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 65% of Paratys area is located inside the National Park of Serra da Bocaina. With thick walls along its traditional uneven sidewalks and cobblestone streets. You will find colonial houses with iron balconies, as well as Masonic culture. You will walk through the historic center of the city accompanied by a professional guide who will tell you curiosities and stories from the past centuries.
