What your day looks like
Paragliding flights in Rio are amazing experiences, with the unique landscape of the city. The flights take-off from Pedra Bonita ramp (520m / 1706ft) of altitude from the sea level, a privileged spot in the Tijuca Forest. It offers a very nice view of the coastal islands, the forest, Pedra da Gavea, the Rocinha favela (one of the world’s biggest slums), Dois Irmaos Hill and more. At the end of this thrilling experience, landing at Pepino’s Beach, where we can cool down with some fresh coconut water at the beach sidewalk kiosks. RioXtreme works only with the best pilots, who have over 20 years of tandem flight experience, certified by the Brazilian Paragliding Association and high quality equipment. Flight details: Flight time: from 8am to 2pm. (will be confirmed a few days before according to the wind forecast). Flight duration: from 10 to 20 minutes (depends on weather and wind conditions). The footage of the cameras are not included, you can purchase the videos directly with the pilots after your flight. * Please inform weights and heights in the booking form. Maximum passenger weight: Paragliding: 105kg (230 pounds); Minimum age: 16 years old.

Meeting & Pickup
Pepino's Beach - Sao Conrado. Avenida Prefeito Mendes de Morais, 1502 - Sao Conrado. You can reach the meeting point by Uber, taxi, or Metro (subway). It is very easy and close to the South Zone of Rio.
