What your day looks like

We invite you to explore the places of the major cultural and historical importance of the city of Salvador, with our excursion PANORAMIC CITY TOUR, that will take you to the most outstanding areas to learn more about this beautiful city. We will visit the Farol da Barra, the Lower Town and some neighborhoods around the Baía de Todos os Santos, the Igreja do Bomfim and the Mercado Modelo, just to mention some of the most important attractions.

Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

The tour begins with departure from selected hotels, where you`ll begin visiting some of the most important sites in the city of Salvador. Your tour will begin at the Farol da Barra, the geographical landmark that separates All Saints Bay from the Atlantic Ocean, where we`ll make our first photo stop. Next, we`ll head to the Dique do Tororó, home to the famous sculptures of the Candomblé orixás, and pass by the Arena Fonte Nova, the modern stadium built on the site of the old Fonte Nova. The route continues through the Nazaré Valley, crossing the Américo Simas tunnel until we reach the Lower City. Along the way, we`ll see the port area and the traditional Calçada neighborhood, with the impressive train station building, from where trains depart for the suburbs. Next, we`ll follow Caminho de Areia avenue to the We will visit the traditional Ribeira ice cream parlor (optional, not included in the total tour price), famous for its irresistible tropical fruit flavors. Our journey continues to Bonfim Hill, where we will stop to admire the city`s most famous church, known worldwide for the traditional Lavagem do Bonfim, a unique celebration marked by faith and joy. Next, we head to Fort Monte Serrat, a charming place that combines preserved colonial architecture with stunning views of All Saints Bay. Shortly after, we will visit the Sanctuary of Santa Dulce de los Pobres, in honor of the beloved Bahian nun canonized by the Vatican. Finally, we will end our tour at the emblematic Mercado Modelo, where the vibrant colors of local crafts, the ocean in the background, and the sound of the berimbau capture the true essence of Salvadoran culture. The tour ends with return to your hotels.
