At the northern most point of the Alagoas Gold Coast, Maragogi is a location blessed with exuberant beauty and pristine beaches as well as living gals (a reef complex named after old shipwrecks). Explore this amazing eco-system of natural pools among coral-lined reefs. The crystal-clear waters of this beach make it an ideal place for snorkeling and scuba diving. After a two and a half hour drive up to Maragogi from Macei, you can take an optional catamaran trip for an additional cost to reach the offshore gales, distant 3.75 miles (20 minutes) from the continent. There you will have the chance to snorkel around the clear waters and see many types of fish. If you are craving for more, you may decide to do an optional scuba dive for about 30 minutes, where you get a chance to practice your underwater skills. No Certification is needed for this optional activity and you will be accompanied by an instructor the whole time. After around 1hr30mins of snorkeling around the Gals you will board the boat back and have lunch. There are several lunch options as well as pool and beach for you to relax before heading back to Macei This trip is dependent on the tide, so be aware that your tour date might change if the tide prevents the tour for taking place.
