We invite you to explore the best and most outstanding that the city has to offer with our excursion: MANAOS CITY TOUR. This tour is a great way to get a panoramic view of points of interest like the Black River Palace and the Amazons Palace of Justice. Also, we can explore inside the Port of Manaus, the Indian Museum and Amazons Theater. We departure from our selected hotels to travel 18 km from the Estrada da Ponta Negra to the port of Manaos, where our tour begins. It is located in the center of the city and will do a visit inside it. Then we continue with a brief stop in the front of the Black River Palace, the official seat of the State Government and a fine example of an architecture of Manaos golden period. The following point of interest is the Indian Museum, of the Salesian Congregation, the best place to understand the traditions and customs of indigenous peoples. It is a collection of over four thousand pieces made by different tribes that, through the years inhabited the region. The exhibits include household utensils, musical instruments, ornaments, and weapons. Then, we will take an external visit to the Amazons Palace of Justice, built at the behest of Governor Eduardo Ribeiro, this building, inspired by the French and neoclassical styles, has been reconverted and currently functions as a cultural center. Finally, the tour ends with a visit inside the Amazon Theater, inaugurated in 1896, is one of the main tourist attractions of Manaus. Symbol of the golden period of the city. The tour ends with the returning to our selected hotels

The journey, in full

We will leave our selected hotels to travel 18 km from the Ponta Negra highway to the port of Manaus, where our tour will begin. The port is located in the center of the city and we will visit its interior, to then continue with a brief stop in front of the Rio Negro Palace, official seat of the State Government. The next point of interest to visit is the Museum of the Indian, of the Salesian Congregation, the best place to understand the traditions and customs of the indigenous people. It is a collection of more than four thousand pieces made by different tribes that throughout the years inhabited the region. The exhibits include domestic utensils, musical instruments, ornaments and weapons. Then, we will continue with an external visit to the Palace of Justice in the Amazon, built at the behest of Governor Eduardo Ribeiro. This building, inspired by the French and neoclassical styles, was converted and currently functions as a cultural center. Finally, the tour is completed with a visit to the interior of the Amazon Theater, inaugurated in 1896, is one of the main tourist attractions of Manaus. It is a symbol of the rubber cycle, where all the wealth and greatness still passes through its corridors, halls and works of art. Soon after, we return to the selected hotels, where the tour ends.
