Enjoy a city tour and a visit to the borders of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Meet the World Wonders, Wax Museum and Dinosaur Park. Foz do Iguau is a city with a lot of history. You will not just learn about why the city was named Foz but also see it. In English, it is called Iguassu Falls but the word Foz actually means "River Mouth" in Portuguese. When you reach the Landmark of the Three Frontiers, you will see exactly where the Iguassus river mouth flows into Paran River. You will be standing at the border of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. You will learn about the Paraguay War, where Paraguay faced Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. There you will understand the strategic reasons as to why Paraguay invaded Brazil and about the long-lasting impact of the outcome of the war. It gives you a different perspective into the frontier itself. From there you will go to the majestic Omar Ibn Al-Khatab Mosque built in 1983. It is no wonder a Mosque was built in Iguassu Falls, since it is proportionally the biggest Islamic community in the country. You will finish the tour at the Buddhist Temple of Foz do Iguau and learn about the history of Buddhism and its teachings. From there you can catch views from the distant city centers of Ciudad del Este and Foz do Iguau.

Roundtrip Transfer to Most Hotels in Iguassu Falls – Brazilian Side and some in Puerto Iguazu. If you are being picked up in Puerto Iguazu to cross to Brazil, you will need to pay a fee of $20,00 pesos for for an Eco touristic tax in Puerto Iguazu. If you are staying at Puerto Iguazu and your hotel is not listed, you should go to the meeting point at the Churrascaria Show Brasil (Barbecue House) - Address: Av.
