What your day looks like
This tour is ideal for those who want to know the main sights of Recife and Olinda in one day. There are walks and stops in attractions such as Praia de Boa Viagem, José Estelita Pier, Five Point Fort, Marco Zero, Bom Jesus Street, Arsenal Square, Malakoff Tower, Praça da República, Alto the Cathedral and the Monastery of São Bento. This is a complete tour for those who do not want to miss any of the main tourist, historical and cultural sights of Recife and Olinda. It is a mixed tour since some of the points are visited on a walking tour while others are sighted and enjoyed from within the tour's own vehicle. The best way to learn about the history and culture of Recife and Olinda is to see and experience with your own senses. Therefore, the tour has stops where you can enjoy all the wealth of diversity that the cities have. This tour lasts approximately eight hours and takes place every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Among the tourist attractions visited are Praia de Boa Viagem, Jose Estelita Pier, Fort of the Five Points, Marco Zero, Bom Jesus Street, Arsenal Square, Malakoff Tower, Republic Square, Alto da Sé and the Monastery of São Bento.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
We will start with the Historic Colonial Center of Olinda where we’ll see a lovely city built with colonial houses surrounded by beautiful palm trees, the Atlantic jungle while we have the sea as a perfect background, there’s no doubt this is an exciting tour with a splendid landscape. We’ll find out and see that streets are made out of stone throughout the Historical Center of Olinda. It has colorful houses, very captivating for its bright and happy colors. We’ll have stops at the Monastery and Basilica of São Bento which depicts its Brazilian Baroque Art. We’ll continue by visiting la Rúa do Amparo, craftsman workshops, artists along the Largo da Misericórdia and Alto da Sé. During our next stop, we’ll get to know the famous giant dolls of Olinda, created by the renowned giant doll maker Silvio Botelho, who brings joy during the Carnival period. We will visit the neighborhood called Recife Antigo, until we reach Arsenal, the second most important square in the neighborhood, a center for crafts and old buildings.
