The journey, in full
The tour leaves Curitiba at 7:30 am and heads towards the city of Ponta Grossa (about 100 km from Curitiba). There you will visit the unique sandstone formations, and take a close look at large craters with exuberant vegetation and groundwater. You will see beautiful rock formations with varying contours, as well as Lagoa Dourada (Golden Pond), which gets its name from its glinting golden waters from the reflection of the sunset. You will also see the other great attraction of the Park: Furnas (large craters). One of the craters is upto 100m deep.
