What travelers are saying
It was an excellent tour that covered all of Rio’s iconic highlights — Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Selarón Steps — in one well-organized experience. Our guide did a great job managing the group. A few couples arrived late to the meeting points at both the Selarón Steps and Christ the Redeemer, but he handled the situation calmly and professionally, keeping everything on track without stress. We would have enjoyed taking the train up to Christ the Redeemer, but since that wasn’t included in the tour description, it wasn’t a surprise — just a personal preference. Communication beforehand was clear regarding pickup time and location, which helped everything run smoothly. We also needed to leave a bit early to return to our cruise ship for a dinner reservation at 6:30, and we let the guide know in advance while we were at the top of Sugarloaf. He was very accommodating. We finished our visit at the summit of Sugarloaf around 5:30 PM, which gave us just enough time to head back. There was a queue of taxis waiting at the base, and we made it to our ship and our dinner reservation right on time. Overall, a very efficient and enjoyable way to experience Rio’s top sights.
