Christ Redeemer and Sugarloaf Corcovado
What your day looks like
We offer you our excursion CHRIST REDEEMER STATUE & SUGARLOAF CORCOVADO TOURS AND TICKETS, that takes you to visit, in one day, the two most important tourist attractions in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The excursion begins at the Corcovado hill, home of the Christ the Redeemer statue, an image that shows the faith and sympathy of the Carioca people. We have the opportunity to climb to its top through the rain forest, which will make of this an even more special experience. Then, we will get to the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car, giving us a privileged view, due to its scenic beauty. The tour starts with the passengers pick up in their hotels to go visit the Corcovado Hill and Christ the Redeemer statue, located at 710 meters high. It is one of the most visited places in the city, and also is an eco-tour, as the Corcovado hill is located inside the National Park of Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. From the summit of the hill, we can see the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the north of the city and several beaches. After contemplating the wonderful panoramic view of the city, we will drive to the legendary Maracanã Stadium, where we stop so you can visit the Maracanã Museum (optional). After that, we will stop at the famous Carnival Avenue, Sambodromo, with access to the Samba Museum and entrance at Apoteose Square. After lunch in a traditional BBQ restaurant will visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. The climb is done by a glass cable-car up to the mountain summit, from where we will enjoy a wonderful 360° view of the Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo, and its surroundings. Before the end of the tour, we will pass through the Historic City Center with stops in the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Selarón Staircase, passing in the famous Arcos of Lapa. Return to the hotel.

What travelers are saying
It took over an hour to pick up everyone, leave central Rio and begin the tour. There were then long wait times for the train to Christ the Redeemer and other stops on the tour. The biggest challenge was the guide, not providing a flag or easy way to find her at each stop and not accessible for questions. It did not feel organized.
