Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel, followed by a drive to the port district. Our first stop is the Olympic Boulevard of Rio de Janeiro. This cultural and artistic hub was created during the city’s revitalization for the 2016 Olympic Games. We start with the Etnias mural by Eduardo Kobra. It is the world’s largest graffiti artwork. Spanning over 2,500 square meters, this vibrant piece celebrates the diversity of the world’s indigenous peoples and has become a must-see landmark in Rio. The boulevard also features iconic sites like the Museum of Tomorrow and Mauá Square, a historical space blending old and new Rio. Visit AquaRio, Rio de Janeiro`s Window into Marine Life After exploring the boulevard, we head to AquaRio, the largest aquarium in South America. AquaRio is located in a repurposed cold-storage warehouse. It features over 8,000 marine animals from 350 species. You can see sharks, rays, tropical fish, and corals, among others. The visit begins at the Oceanic Tank, AquaRio’s largest exhibit. It holds capacity for 3.3 million liters of water and a depth of seven meters. Massive acrylic panels provide breathtaking views of the underwater world, offering a chance to observe marine life up close. A highlight of the experience is the glass tunnel, which allows you to walk “underwater” as animals swim around and above you. This immersive design brings the ocean to life and provides incredible photo opportunities. AquaRio isn’t just a place to admire marine life; it’s also dedicated to conservation and education. A portion of ticket sales supports marine biology research and sustainability programs in Brazil. The exhibits provide valuable insights into the importance of ocean preservation, making the visit both fun and educational. Visitors can take photographs throughout AquaRio, but they must avoid using flash to protect the animals. After visiting AquaRio, the tour concludes with a return trip to your hotel. Reserve your place on this tour to experience the best of Rio’s artistic culture and marine life in a single day.
