The Experience

What your day looks like

Experience the beauty of Rio from a different angle! Join us aboard our sailing yachts on a 3-hour tour under sail in the protected bay or open ocean waters of Rio. Departing from the Marina da Gloria, downtown Rio, this sailing experience unveils, right from the start, the two most iconic landmarks of Rio de Janeiro: the Statue of Christ The Redeemer, and Sugar Loaf. As the sailing proceeds, the Captain helps guests understand the magic of sailing and responds to questions about Rio's history, while guests relax, enjoy our welcome drinks, and snacks, and appreciate the great views!

Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

We don't follow a strict itinerary. Since we are driven by the winds, each of our sailing tours is unique in terms of itinerary. One thing is certain: we cover a lot of ground and the views are spectacular! Mostly, we sail in-bay, towards Rio's sister city of Niteroi, the harbor and some of the historic sites of Rio: the 16th-century old fortresses, the Museum of Tomorrow, the museum of Contemporary Art by renown Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the Sugar Loaf and the statue of Christ the Redeemer at top of Corcovado hill. Conditions permitting, we will also visit open ocean waters and the nearby beaches of Vermelha, Copacabana, and Ipanema. In these instances, the tour may also include a visit to the outer islands of the Cagarras Archipelago, two miles from the coast. The archipelago is home to seabirds such as the frigate birds and atobás and it may occasionally be visited by dolphins and whales, especially in the second half of the year.
