What your day looks like

Take our transfer to Dubrovnik and experience much more than just a transfer. Explore beautiful Herzegovina region in meantime with your tour guide. This transfer will start in the morning after we pick you up from your hotel. It this tour we will pass through and stop in small but beautiful town - Konjic and see Neretva River and The Old bridge. Next destination is Mostar, city of stone and light, historical, political, scientific and cultural center of Herzegovina that lies at the foot of the slopes of Velez Mountain, in Neretva River valley. With its Old Bridge is one of the most important pearls of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will walk through The Old Town and beside the famous Old Bridge we will also see Hamam, Turkish bath, Crooked Bridge, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and Old Bazaar Kujundziluk. After enjoying Mostar we will go to Pocitelj village, medieval and Ottoman-Mediterranean wonder of nature and architecture, a place like no other. Cupped in a steep rocky amphitheater, it’s a warren of stairways climbing between ramshackle stone-roofed house and pomegranate bushes. Next destination will be Kravice waterfall, a mini version of Niagara Falls, hidden in the Balkans. After enjoying Kravice Waterfall, we proceed to Dubrovnik. We drop you off at your hotel.

Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Departure from Sarajevo You depart from Sarajevo in the morning and drive south towards Herzegovina. During the drive, you pass mountains and river landscapes while learning about the region. 1st Stop: Konjic Your first stop is Konjic, a small and charming town on the turquoise Neretva River. You see the Ottoman Old Bridge and hear stories about trade routes and life along the river. You then continue driving through the impressive Neretva River canyon. Along the way, your guide shares unique stories about Herzegovina and its people. 2nd Stop: Mostar You arrive in Mostar, the cultural and historical centre of Herzegovina, located below Velež Mountain. The city is famous for the UNESCO-protected Old Bridge, one of the main symbols of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You walk through the Old Town and see the Old Bridge, Crooked Bridge, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, old Turkish bath (Hamam), and the old bazaar Kujundžiluk. 3rd Stop: Blagaj Tekke Next, you visit Blagaj, a peaceful place surrounded by nature. You see the Dervish Monastery built in the early Ottoman period next to the strong spring of the Buna River. You learn about dervish life and rituals while enjoying calm atmosphere, fresh water, and mountain views. 4th Stop: Počitelj On the way, you stop in Počitelj, a unique medieval and Ottoman village built on a steep hill. You walk through stone paths and see old houses, mosque, madrasa, clock tower, and other traditional buildings. 5th Stop: Kravice Waterfalls You arrive at Kravice Waterfalls, often called the Balkan version of Niagara Falls. You enjoy free time to walk around, relax, and take photos of this natural wonder. Continuation to Dubrovnik After the visit to Kravice Waterfalls, you continue the drive towards Dubrovnik. You arrive at your accommodation, finishing a full-day journey rich in nature, history, and culture.
