Hiking at Trebević. Day 2: Walk from Sarajevo City Centar – Trebević Mt: Your first self-guided hiking day starts from Sarajevo itself, the capital city where your arrival will be. The trail heads to Trebević, which you will approach by Sarajevo cable car. Trebević is especially popular with walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, primarily because of its position – as the closest Olympic Mountain near Sarajevo, featuring an abandoned bobsleigh track from the Olympics. Route: 8.69 km (5.4 mi) Ascents: 585 meters (1,919 ft) Approximate Walking Time: 4 hours

Day 3: Hiking from Bjelašnica - Observatory: The journey proceeds along the Olympic mountain Bjelašnica, culminating at its highest peak, the Observatory (2067 m/a.s.l.), from Babin do. The demanding ascent to the Observatory allows for breaks at various stations, providing opportunities for extended rests inside the observatory. Day 4: Hiking from Umoljani – Lukomir: The self-guided tour begins with the legendary Umoljani Dragon village, petrified on a cliff, offering a beautiful view of the Oblj peak ridge. It then proceeds towards Lukomir, the highest village at 1400 meters. The return journey through Rakitnica Canyon unveils stunning views of a meandering creek, adding to the scenic beauty of the hiking journey.
