Reef Fishing: Full Day
What your day looks like
There is always a lot of action when fishing on Belize’s Reef because you are almost guaranteed to a catch something when reef fishing with our guides. All tackle, gear and bait are provided by our guides, but you are welcome to bring your gear if you feel more comfortable with it. Our crew members are trained and experienced guides that will take you to Belize’s best fishing spots along our reef. Most of the reef fishing will be done inside the reef and channels, where there are plenty of fish that move in and out of the reef looking for food.

What travelers are saying
This was not as advertised. We were supposed to be in two boats, but one broke down and had to be taken in. That's understandable. However, we paid for 8 hours on two boats. But when we asked our guide to split us up and take each group out for 4 hours, he said no. They tried calling the boss for permission because this was a problem for some reason even though we booked an 8 hour day. They couldn’t get him so they said we’ll do it and you can just take care of us. So we tipped them well. This is suspicious. The listing said they would cook our fish for us as our lunch but they brought sandwiches and cleaned the fish for us at the end of the trip. We were all looking forward to that adventure. They didn’t offer snorkeling either. We also found out that the second boat (the one that broke down) had no food or drinks provided either. The captain said he could take them to the store for beer or food if they wanted to buy something. That is not what was described in the listing.
