Mopan River Hike
What your day looks like
The Mopan River is one of the few rivers that still keeps the same name since the time of the Mayas. You will hike along the river bank toward the village of San Jose Succotz. During your hike by the river and through the sub-tropical forest, you will learn about the flora and fauna of the area, in addition to the Maya history of the region. When you arrive at the village of San Jose Succotz, you will have the option to take a swim in the refreshing water of the Mopan River.
