The journey, in full
This expedition starts off with an energetic and rigorous hike into the foothills of the Maya Mountains leading to Actun Loch Tunich. This sinkhole, also known as the black hole drop, is not actually black but since you can’t see the bottom from the top, this absolutely adds to the excitement. Fully trained guides will rig a rappelling system to make this adventure safe and secure. The guides will then clip you onto the rope, and allow you to descend into this unforgettable adventure.
