Brussels Highlights & Waterloo Battlefield: Walking and Bus Tour
What your day looks like
The tour combines the comfort of a coach with a guided walk to offer a comprehensive Brussels experience, including a visit to the historic Waterloo battlefield. We meet at Saints-Michel-et-Gudule Cathedral, celebrating its 800th anniversary, to begin a guided walking tour through the historic center toward Grand-Place, with insights into Brussels’ architecture, history, and daily life, including Manneken Pis and the Royal Galleries. After the walk, we board a comfortable coach for a panoramic drive, passing the iconic Atomium with time for an exterior photo stop, while discovering the city’s architectural diversity and its role as the capital of the European Union. We then continue to Waterloo Battlefield to explore the major sites of the 1815 campaign. On the return to Brussels, the route passes Parc du Cinquantenaire and the EU quarter, with views of the Palace of Justice and the Royal Palace, before arriving back in the city center.
