What your day looks like
On our way to Amsterdam, you will pass by the countryside and windmills. Arriving in the Amsterdam area, we will stop at a typical Dutch cheese and wooden clog farm called 'Rembrandthoeve' located near the Amstel river. Entering the city, you will see the Netherlands’ National Bank, the well-known Heineken brewery, as well as the Painting Gallery, with the great Dutch masters such as Rembrandt and Van Gogh. From the Saint-Nicolas church, you will enjoy a 20-minute walk passing the neo-Gothic Central Station, reaching the royal palace on Dam Square. Here you will have free time to enjoy a boat tour or a walk along the ‘coffee’ shops, the Red-light district, etc. On departure from the city, our route will take you through the picturesque houseboats and the replica ship of the East Indian company. You will then see the Jewish Museum and the Jewish Memorial monument, as well as the famous Artis Zoo and the stunning Nemo, the Science Museum designed by world-famous architect Renzo Piano.

Heart of the city and most crowded square of Amsterdam: Dam Square with the Liberation Monument (1940-1945), a 22 M high obelisk. There is also the Royal Palace, now only used for representative purposes. The Anne Frank House is a writer's house and biographical museum dedicated to Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank. The building is located on a canal called the Prinsengracht, close to the Westerkerk, in central Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Founded in 1873 by Gerard Adriaan Heineken of the Netherlands. 2011: third brewer of the world. Today, the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam is the Heineken Experience Museum .......marvellous building with art deco elements. Heineken beer is a blond beer (pils), 5%. Dominates the Damsquare. Inaugurated as Town Hall in 1655 during the Golden Age, and became a palace by Luis Bonaparte, brother of Emperor Napoleon. Townhall until 1808, and today the palace is used by the King to welcome well-known visitors. Windmills and farmhouses dominate the skyline. A traditional farm where wooden shoes and cheese are made. Types of Dutch windmill: poldermill, watermill, and flourmill. A few streets to walk!
