What your day looks like
Land and Sea Tour. Enjoy a scenic drive around Barbados followed by lunch and a boat cruise to swim with the turtles and snorkel at a shipwreck Explore and Discover Barbados with us. To start your day we will journey over to the East Coast of Barbados. Our first stop will be Cherry Tree Hill with its breathtaking views of the East Coast from there we will make our way to Morgan Lewis Windmill. The windmill is of the top 100 endangered historical sites in the world. Our next stop will be one full of local flavor as we stop for a local lunch. After lunch as we come down onto the coastline we will travel through Cattlewash and make a stop in Bathsheba which was named for its great beauty; it is also the location of the Soup Bowl the favorite stop for surfers in Barbados. Our next stop will be St John's Church one of the oldest churches on the island, set on a cliff and capturing spectacular views. From this gothic church, we will journey through the parish of St George past the Gun Hill signal station and the great white Lion as we make our way to the Garrison Historic area. Your tour will be for a sampling of a few Bajan treats. Our next stop will be the first British-built garrison in the West Indies at St. Ann's Fort in 1705. The garrison, which served as the regional headquarters of the British Navy, soon expanded to include barracks and a parade ground. For more than a century was the largest British Colonial garrison. The Garrison has special importance for the people of Barbados as it was here the flag of the independent nation was unfurled on 30th November 1966. On the way back to the port we will also pass through the capital of Bridgetown a UNESCO world heritage site. For the second part of your day, you will take a boat trip to swim with the turtles and snorkel at a shipwreck. Please be sure to wear your swimsuits and bring a beach towel for this excursion.

What travelers are saying
It's a great excursion. We enjoyed the different areas of the island we visited and the snorkeling. Our guides were knowledgeable and engaging.
The Tour was great! The meeting point was straightforward and identifiable. Our tour guide Ed was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had plenty of time to explore each of the stops and take photos. I like that we got to do a little snorkeling as part of the tour. I would recommend this tour since it gives you a bit of both experiences. The only small thing it was a bit difficult to hear what the guide was saying at times in the back of the van because the system seemed to be a bit muffled. Other than that, the tour was an absolute blast!
Great excursion, Swimming with the turtles was special. Tour guide, Charles was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.
We loved seeing the beautiful island of Barbados and snorking! I do have one suggestion. Our cruise ship got in at 8:00 and that was the time of our excursion. You can't expect participants to get off the ship (line waiting), bus or walk to the arrival area (takes a while either way), and walk through the arrival shopping area to the waiting driver. You should plan it 1/2 hour after arrival of the ship. Our driver didn't like us being late but we had no choice.
