Bahamian Baking Class including Transfers with Local Host Gabbi

Welcome to Gabbi’s Home You will meet Gabbi at her cozy home in Nassau, or choose the optional transport add-on for pickup from your resort or vacation rental. She will warmly introduce you to Bahamian food culture and share stories about local baking traditions before you begin. Hands-On Baking Experience You will learn essential techniques such as kneading dough and creating flaky pastry while preparing three traditional breads — one savory and two sweet. You may make Bahamian twists or pineapple duff, coconut bread, and a crisp hot patty filled with curried chicken, beef, or vegetables (fillings are pre-prepared as they require cooling). Local Drinks & Island Flavors During your class, you will enjoy a refreshing Sky Juice cocktail made with coconut water and gin, a beloved Bahamian drink. If you select the alcohol add-on, beer or wine will also be available. Take Home Recipes & Memories At the end of your experience, you will take home the recipes you learned, a local food gift, and lasting memories of authentic Bahamian hospitality. Gabbi is happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free dietary needs with advance notice. Please note: 1.
