What to Bring
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking. If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides a tip — though not compulsory — is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many destinations. We would recommend you get, depending on the length of your stay in Vienna, a 24 or 48-hour pass for the metro because we will use it a couple of times during this tour! We had a tremendous experience on our tour! We visited many different districts and enjoyed a variety of meals, beginning with breakfast at a Viennese cafe. Our guide shared the history and significance at each stop, and we were quite full by the end! You will use public transit to get from one stop to the next, so the appropriate day pass (an extra cost) really becomes a necessity. That said, if you're sightseeing in Vienna anyway (highly recommended), it's the best way to get around, so that shouldn't be a barrier. This tour is great for people who want to experience many types of food and see many parts of the city, either because they're only in Vienna for a short time or for those who want to figure out what they like quickly to enjoy a longer stay. Every bite was delicious. Every stop was worthwhile!
