What travelers are saying
I really enjoyed it! They did a nice job going through details of the locations and how it ties in with the movie! Lake Hallstatt was beautiful the Alps were breathtaking!
I know the company has no control of weather but I felt like the Hallstatt tour is dependent on the weather. Everything was closed due to the weather (boats and funicular) therefore we had nothing else we could do but visit the 2 churches. The tour guide gave us minimal information on the ride and told us to take boat or funicular and both were closed. This part of the tour should have been cancelled and our money refunded. The sound of music tour had similar weather conditions but the tour guide gave us information while on the boat and not standing in torrential rain and flooding. Even though the bus driver was on the bus at the meeting point we were unable to get on the bus. We just had to stand in the rain. Do not feel project expedition thought of customers only the money ! I would recommend the tour guide and sound of music tour but not the company and certainly not Hallstatt in the rain and snow and wind when everything was closed but the churches.
