What your day looks like
RENTAL BIKES Quality bikes ensure a breakdown-free bike tour with good maintenance. 7-speed (ladies'/men's model) with backpedal break, hub gears and wide seat. On request, we can also provide 21/24-speed bikes (freewheel; ladies'/men's model) at no extra charge (notify us when booking). E-Bikes: Bikes with electronic pedal assistance (noiseless) and freewheel; only 21 kg net weight; daily range of approx. 70 km (depending on riding style!). Suitable for body hight between 160 cm and 190 cm. further included: one double-sided saddle bag per person - also for customer-owned bikes. - When booking rental bikes, please always indicate the customer's height! - Rental bikes (including e-bikes) can also have defects. We therefore have intact replacement bikes (only 7-speed 28’ bikes - no e-bikes) on the entire cycle route. - You hand in your defective bike there and simply ‘change saddles’. Please note that we are therefore unable to accept any repair shop invoices, etc.

Day 1

Arrival in Bregenz: Hand out travel documents and rental bikes (if booked) at the Infopoint Hotel Weisses Kreuz.

Day 2
Bregrenz
Cycling at Lake Constance. Güttingen/Romanshorn, 45/56 Km Bike: You cycle beautifully through the parks along the lake, past the festival theatre and the lake stage. Continue to Mehrerau, the only active monastery on Austria's Lake Constance. Continue past numerous bathing opportunities to the Bregenzer Ache. Through the nature reserve ‘Altenrhein-Mündung’ to Staad, and the Swiss towns of Rorschach and Arbon to Romanshorn/Güttingen.

Day 3

Cycling at Lake Constance. Rielasingen - Gailingen, 51/61 Km Bike. Always along the lake to Kreuzlingen and further along Untersee to Ermatingen and via Berlingen to beautiful Stein am Rhein with its magnificent house facades.

Cycling at Munot. Schaffhausen And Rheinfall, 55 Km Bike: On the Rhine cycle path to Schaffhausen (Munot Fortress) and the largest waterfall in Europe; back.

Sightseeing at Lake Constance. Konstanz/Kreuzlingen, 53 Km Bike: Via the Höri peninsula to Radolfzell. Continue to the island of Reichenau (island tour + 16 km) and to the council town.

Day 6

Boating. Friedrichshafen, 34 Km Bike, 15 Min. Ferry. In the morning time for individual sightseeing of the flower island Mainau; afterwards to the ferry to Staad; crossing to Meersburg and along the lake via Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen (customs office building in the middle of the park, castle church, Zeppelin museum). Due to the short stage of the day, an excursion to the pile dwellings in Uhldingen is worthwhile (+ 10 km).

Sightseeing. Bregenz, 35 Km Bike: Through the Argen estuary nature reserve (detour along the Argen to Laimnau + 18 km) to the island town of Lindau and back to the festival town.
