Spectacular Half Day Abseiling Adventure - Blue Mountains
What your day looks like
A brilliant half-day abseiling adventure. The abseiling starts with a beginner-friendly 5-metre high cliff. Your instructors are close at hand to encourage and explain the techniques. With your instructor explaining each step, you progress through to a 15 metre high cliff finishing on a thrilling 30 metre high drop. The setting is the stunningly beautiful World Heritage National Park, making it both a scenic and exciting adventure! Our abseiling trips run all year round. All you need to do is dress for the weather, bring running shoes, a litre of water and a camera. We provide everything else required including Lunch on all full-day trips. A free breakfast is included if you're staying at the YHA. Established in 1989 we have taken over 100,000 people on adventures ranging from a 3-hour abseil session to multi-day snow and ice climbing courses. National Parks and Blue Mountains City Council fully insured and licensed us. Our guides are outdoor enthusiasts with a passion for taking others into our remote and beautiful environment. Minimum qualifications include Certificate 3 in Canyoning, First Aid and Bronze Medallion. Between them, they have hundreds of years of experience. Please note that if you are travelling by train it is a beautiful scenic 2-hour ride from Sydney. The train normally leaves central between 6:13 am and 6:25 am (please check before the day)From there it's a 5-minute walk to our office.
The experience, in brief

Reasonable fitness required. No previous experience necessary. Minimum age for individual bookings is 12. We can cater for younger children on a private tour.
