What your day looks like
Visit the Moonlit Sanctuary to see Australia’s fauna very close in their natural habitat. From the Nobbies – Seals Rock we can appreciate the full force of the ocean. We may also see penguins here. Visit the town of Cowes for a stroll along the main road, the pier or have dinner (not included – summer only). We arrive at the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre with time to shop, have a coffee, or walk straight to the viewing platform to see the arrival of the little penguins.

Great tour guide . Josh explained in detail what to do including actually showing us where to go plus gave an intro tour of the sanctuary. Very impressive! I do recommend for viewing the penguins to pay extra for premium seats. Too far away and too hard to see them in general admission stands but were able to see them up close along the boardwalk.

Josh was an amazing tour guide. One of the best I've had in my travels. He was so personable and very knowledgable about the sights we saw on our way to the penguin parade. This was a great trip. The sanctuary and the penguins were just terrific. I highly recommend this trip!
