Depart VRA Landing: Begin your adventure at VRA Landing on Boathouse Drive with a brief introduction and safety briefing. Pedal Upstream: Head upstream towards Melbourne’s famous sporting precinct, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant area. Continue Downstream: Ride under the historic Princes Bridge, a notable Melbourne landmark. Pass Federation Square and Flinders Street Station: Enjoy the iconic views of Federation Square and the historic Flinders Street Station as you pedal downstream. Crown Casino Stop: Pause at Crown Casino to witness the spectacular Gas Brigade show (subject to schedule). Children aged 8 to 13 will only be permitted on a waterbike tandem with a parent or guardian controlling steering. Children aged 14 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Meeting & Pickup
Meeting point: The VRA Landing, 1 Boathouse Drive, Melbourne VIC 3004, a 5-minute walk from Flinders Train Station and multiple tram stops. Allow enough time to use any facilities; the nearest is located at either Riverside Skate Park or Southgate Food Court. Location is not fixed, and the Waterbikes Australia van will be parked along Boathouse Drive for your reference.
