Join an expert bar and history guide for an unforgettable journey through Melbourne’s whisky and gin scene. You’ll visit three of the city’s coolest spirit bars, including Melbourne’s oldest dedicated whisky bar and the only distillery in the CBD. As you stroll through the east end of the city, you’ll pass the former red-light district, Chinatown, and the Greek Quarter while uncovering how Victoria once led whisky and gin production in the 19th and early 20th centuries, meeting the “Ned Kelly” of Victorian whisky, and learning fascinating stories from the global history of spirits. Each stop includes curated tastings of some of Australia’s and the world’s finest whisky and gin, served as a paddle of three spirits (20ml each). Your host takes care of everything—from reservations to drink orders—so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
