Wildlife Safari at Grampians National Park. Take the short, scenic drive north, deeper into the Grampians National Park. Expect to see plenty of kangaroos, emus and the odd koala on scenic drives and bushwalking trails. The park’s waterfalls and sweeping views are truly world-class and a stop to see 10,000-year-old Aboriginal rock art is an awe-inspiring must. Enjoy a café or picnic lunch along the way in a native bush setting. The on-site steak-house is one of the city’s best restaurants and a great option for dinner.

Cross the border into South Australia and down to the regional centre of Mt. Gambier to check-in to your accommodation.

From here, it’s a straight shot back to Adelaide with plenty of interesting country towns and expansive views to take in along the way. Arrive in Adelaide by 6 pm and be sure to ask your host about touring and dining options while in the region.
