Hunt for Chinatown’s most delectable dumplings, Little Saigon ‘banh mi’ or the best buffalo mozzarella in Little Italy. Learn about how these communities, have become a part of Melbourne’s vibrant cultural patchwork. Meet chefs and culinary creatives in kitchens and cooler rooms. Want to dive headfirst into specialty coffee? Visit a local roastery and ‘cellar door’. Their passionate roasters are a wealth of information on everything from farming practice and green bean selection to cupping and roasting. If beer or local whiskey is more to your tastes, visit a microbrewer or distiller to drink, chat and learn about the local craft. Cap it off with a visit to an epic bakery, because everything should finish with fresh, flaky baked goods. Your host will have you back at your hotel by 4 pm (start and finish times can be varied to suit your needs).
