Explore Tasmania's captivating region in a little over 5 hours with a small group (max 21). Our tour starts from the farthest locations and end in Burnie township. With a backup vehicle on standby, missing the return has never happened. Trust us, a recognized leader in Australian tours. Discover Burnie's treasures worry-free, guaranteed return to your cruise ship. Our adventure begins promptly at 10:00 AM, with flexibility for earlier ship departures. Should your ship leave earlier, fret not! We'll adjust the start time to 9:30 AM and notify you accordingly. Simply hop on the complimentary shuttle bus from the cruise ship to reach us. If you arrive ahead of time, take advantage of the opportunity to leisurely stroll along the boardwalk and explore the charming market stalls set up specifically for passengers like yourself. We'll conclude by returning to the starting point by 3:15 PM, and will adjust for earlier departures. Tour Highlights: Begin your adventure with a scenic 35-minute drive, to our first stop the George Woodhouse Lookout, where we'll pause for a few minutes for your first photo opportunity. Journey onwards to Wings Wildlife Park, a mere 10-minute drive away, where encounters with Tasmanian wildlife await, including Tasmania Devils, Wombats, Koala and Kangaroos. Enjoy an hour-long exploration, with entrance fees included. Next, venture to Leven Valley Vineyard, nestled amidst rolling hills and lush vine rows where a wine tasting or a non-alcoholic local drink is included. Relax as we drive for 30 minutes to the charming coastal village of Penguin where we spend a quick 10 minutes to view the beautiful beach views, and take a picture of the iconic Penguin sculpture. Heading back to Burnie we visit the Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens, where there is a high chance to see a platypus in the wild. Spend 30 minutes exploring, with entrance fees included. Next for a 25-minute stop at Hellyer’s Distillery, to sample two award-winning whiskies and whisky cream amidst stunning countryside views. For none whisky drinkers a non-alcoholic drink is available. Bid adieu to the wonders of Tasmania for a quick photo stop at the Upper Burnie Lookout, offering a view of your cruise ship against the Tasmanian horizon.
