What your day looks like
Imagine being able to hand feed Cownose Sting Rays on a privately escorted Aquarium tour! This VIP experience shows you through the behind-the-scenes workings of the Cairns Aquarium with views and explanations of the fish food preparation room, innovative plant and equipment that filters the millions of litres of water on site, coral propagation facilities and a stop at the onsite turtle hospital to see how we care for and rehabilitate sick and injured sea turtles. You will also enjoy a scatter feed to the outback river monsters and hand feed the gentle Cownose rays. Marine life encounter includes admission to the Cairns Aquarium so you can experience the entire journey itself at-leisure.

11:30 am – Self-guided entry through Aquarium 12:45 pm – Meet with one of our passionate ecologists 1:00pm – Handfeed the Cownose Sting Rays with the curatorial team 1:30pm – Behind the Scenes guided tour, feed the giant Freshwater species and visit the Cairns Turtle Hospital & Coral Biobank 2:45pm – Tour concludes
