Transportation. Welcome to Australia! This morning, our transfer company will meet you in the foyer of the Mantra Hindmarsh Square at 10am.

Wine Tasting at Clare Valley. Wine Tasting at Clare Valley: We depart Adelaide and travel 2 hours to the charming region of the Clare Valley for a wonderful lunch and wine tasting.

Transportation. From here we head on to Port Wakefield where we enjoy a short stop (and connect with those from the 10-day Flinders Ranges and Yorke Peninsula Walk. After we all come together and head to Marion Bay our accommodation for the next 4 nights at Marion Bay Motel & Tavern, a lovely family-owned and run business with magnificent views of the jetty and adjacent beaches.

Eco Tour at Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park. Stenhouse Bay Lookout & Thomson Pfitzner Plaster Trail: After a hearty breakfast at the tavern, and with packed lunches in our day packs, we head out directly from the motel. We’ll walk into the Innes National Park adjoining Marion Bay and follow a coastal trail towards Stenhouse Bay with its long jetty that is associated with gypsum mining and export. We’ll continue on from here with the cliff top loop known as the Stenhouse Bay Lookout Walk. As the name suggests there are multiple stunning lookouts with views across Investigator Strait. From here we’ll backtrack a little to locate the Thomson Pfitzner Plaster Trail Hike that follows a disused railway line through to Inneston offering further interpretive signs along the way about local history, particularly its mining past. Here we can explore the Inneston Historic Walk at our leisure taking in the structures and ruins of this once thriving village. This walk will be approximately 18km on mostly gentle formed pathways, returning to Marion Bay by mini bus.

Eco Tour at Yorke Peninsula. Pondalowie Bay - Gym Beach: After breakfast, and with packed lunches in our day packs, we head back out to Pondalowie Bay for the start of our walk today. Here we’ll see spectacular coastal views into Spencer gulf on the 4km return to Royston Head Hike. If we feel like it, we can also complete the 1km loop of the West Cape Headland Hike where we’ll reach the West Cape lighthouse. If we’re lucky we may even see dolphins surfing at Tommo’s Break. Before returning to our accommodation for a well-earned rest we’ll stop to look for the wreck of the Ethel, a three-masted iron barque that ran aground here in 1904. It may be covered in its usual blanket of sand, but if so, we’ll certainly see her anchor on display at the lookout above.

Leisure at Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park. Dunn's Point to Swincer Rocks: After a leisurely breakfast we’ll drive to Dunn Point to start our final walk in the area down to Swincer Rocks. Some of the best surfing beaches in South Australia can be found here

Eco Tour at Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park. Swincer Rocks eco tour: During this section keep eyes peeled for dolphins enjoying the waves. You will experience some spectacular scenery along this coastline and see a variety of flora, fauna and birdlife. There is a mixture of walking terrain alternating between natural surface tracks and beach walking. At the end of our walk today we’ll drive back (30-minute) to meet in the tavern at Marion Bay for a celebratory drink at the end of our ‘Walk the Yorke’ four days of hiking.

Eco Tour at Yorke Peninsula. Bluff Beach - Bamboo Beach, Yorke Peninsula: Today we’ll return to Adelaide, but before doing so we’ll enjoy a walk from Bluffs Beach to Bamboo Beach. This coastal walk will take around 3hours. For lunch, we’ll stop at Port Wakefield, a coastal town of the Adelaide Plains. The town is located approximately 100kms North of Adelaide. Steeped in history, the town was created to cater for the needs of the early settlers. With the development of the agricultural, mining and later the fishing industries of South Australia, Port Wakefield became the pivot point for such products. Afterwards, we return to Adelaide where our journey concludes.
