Kayak Rental

Make sure you book a time before 4pm because they close at 5pm. I had a reservation for 4:30 that got changed the night before. The people are a bit short which comes off as rude. Other than the booking experience it was amazing! My group had some people who have never kayaked before and they did not have a problem catching on. Everyone enjoyed this excursion.

We booked this kayak for the purpose of experiencing the clear bottom kayak in Aruba with the hopes of seeing some sea life. Unfortunately the clear bottom was not as good of quality as we expected. It was foggy and cracked. Since the area by the rental spot was the crowded Palm Beach right by all the hotels, there really was no sea life to see any way. This was very disappointing as we booked this instead of a snorkeling tour. We also had a negative experience with the structure and quality of the kayak itself. We ended up gaining a lot of ocean water in the back of the kayak and had to quickly paddle to the beach prior to avoid sinking. With no help from rental company, we struggled to turn over the very heavy kayak that was full of water. When we brought the kayak back to the hut and voiced our concerns, they offered their one other kayak on the beach which was identical to the one we had and said we were too heavy and simply to dump out the excess water. Since we didn't see any other kayaks out in the water from this rental company, we got the feeling that they put more of their energy toward their other ocean sports and don't care as much about the quality of their kayaks. The picture advertised does not represent the quality of their kayaks and the description is misleading. We would not recommend kayaking from this company.
