Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

The Aruba Ostrich Farm: Step into a slice of the savannah right here in the Caribbean. Home to a flock of 80 ostriches and their Australian cousins, the emus, this farm offers a fascinating look at the largest birds on Earth. During your guided tour, you’ll learn about their incredible survival instincts and even have the chance for a personal encounter with these prehistoric wonders. The Donkey Sanctuary: Meet the "original locals" of Aruba. For 500 years, donkeys were the island’s primary mode of transport before the arrival of cars. Today, this volunteer-run sanctuary provides a safe, loving home for the descendants of those hard-working animals. Learn about their near-extinction in the 1970s and the mission to protect the remaining population in this serene and soulful sanctuary. Philip’s Animal Garden: Experience a world-class rehabilitation center born from pure passion. Founded by Philip Merryweather, this sanctuary is a haven for over 50 species of exotic animals rescued from across the globe. This interactive tour allows you to see, touch, and even feed some of the inhabitants, providing an educational look at animal welfare and exotic species. Scenic Island Sights: Between our main stops, enjoy a narrated drive through Aruba’s unique desert landscape, passing local landmarks and hidden gems that showcase the island's natural beauty.

My family loved this excursion. It was a way to see all of the animals in one trip. Danny from El Tours was great! We got to feed donkeys, ostrich, emu, goats, and more. I even fed a camal at Phillips Animal Garden. I would recommend to animal lovers and families with children.
