Our Tigre Delta Day Trip By Boat from Buenos Aires is an ideal tour for those who want to know the Delta region formed by the Parana and Uruguay rivers and visit the main attractions in the north of Greater Buenos Aires. With the excursion to Tigre you will enjoy: A boat trip departing from Puerto Madero through the Rio de la Plata and the Delta where we will enjoy the best views of the city. A delicious box lunch on the shore of the river. A walking tour through the Puerto de Frutos and the main attractions of Tigre. A ride on the Tren de la Costa through the most exclusive area in the north of Buenos Aires to San Isidro. A walking tour through the main points of San Isidro and a visit to the Cathedral. Return to Buenos Aires by train to Retiro station.

Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

09:45 am Meeting with the tour guide at the Sturla River Terminal, located in Puerto Madero neighborhood. 10 to 11:45 am Navigation on the Rio de la Plata, where you will enjoy wonderful views of the City of Buenos Aires. 11:45 am to 12:15 pm Arrival at the Paraná River Delta and disembarkation in the city of Tigre. 12:30 pm You will enjoy a box lunch with a drink included while you enjoy an incredible view of the Delta. 01:30 pm After lunch we start with the tour of the Puerto de Frutos. This place was the old port for the disembarkation of goods from the Delta and nowadays it is a local tourist spot, visited every weekend by people from Buenos Aires, as a recreation area by the river. You will be able to visit the fair, take pictures and buy souvenirs and handicrafts. We will continue with a walking tour along the Paseo Victorica, an exceptional place that combines nature, river views, gastronomy, rowing clubs and historical landmarks and museums. Our guide will give you the necessary knowledge to understand the importance and history of each attraction and the city. 03:15 pm Arrival at the Delta station of the Tren de la Costa. We will board this tourist train that runs along the coast of the Rio de la Plata on the left, and the most exclusive areas of large mansions on the right. 03:30 pm Arrival in San Isidro and tour of Plaza Mitre and the Cathedral of San Isidro. Walking tour through the main attractions until arriving at San Isidro Station. On the way you will have time to have a coffee with a snack or an ice cream. 04.45 to 05.30 pm From San Isidro station you will travel by train to the city of Buenos Aires. The tour ends at the monument of the Liberator José de San Martín, in front of Retiro train station.

Enter by the left until the Sturla Fluvial Terminal. Cruise ship pier pick-up included if you select the option "for cruise passengers". End point: - Monumento del Libertador José de San Martín / Plaza San Martín, Retiro
